About Us

The National FFA Awards Database is a cooperative project between the National FFA Organization and the Ruth Lilly Special Collections & Archives. Information contained in the database is a compilation of data:

The database is updated on a continual basis as each year's information is reviewed against the documentation in the records. It contains all the awards winners from 1928 to the present of the National FFA Organization and from 1935-1965 of the NFA (New Farmers of America). The NFA, the organization for African- American agricultural students, began in 1926 and merged in 1965 with the National FFA Organization. The Ruth Lilly Special Collections and Archives can only guarantee the accuracy of the information as it was presented in the records.

This project is a result of the dedication of the staff and volunteers of the Ruth Lilly Special Collections and Archives and the Marketing and Communications Service Team of the National FFA Organization for their commitment to the Archives.
